Performances, past and present Since 2001, The Gentlemen Adventurers have performed in many events throughout Southern California. We specialize in first person historical presentations, period weapon exhibits and demonstrations as well as choreographed stage combat confrontations. Here are just of few of the events and performances we have done. The Renaissance Pleasure Faire -- Southern California Each year, the Gentlemen Adventurers participate in the Renaissance Pleasure Faire held each spring in Southern California. Portraying Elizabethan English Military Officers, The GAs bring patron interaction to the streets of faire and give a glimpse the daily life of a Gentleman by conducting confrontations and duels of honor. The Renaissance Pleasure Faire Timeline Events Timeline events are generally sponsored by military museums and US Military Vet organizations to increase awareness of those units in the past which have made the modern military what it is today. The events feature military units of every time period from Roman to the Veitnam conflict. Events in Southern California include " Old Fort MacArthur Days" at the Fort MacArthur Military Museum in San Pedro and the Marching Through History Exposition at the Prado Dam in Chino. The Gentlemen Adventurers, portraying military officers, educate the public with exhibits of period weapons and their use in addition to army and naval commonplaces of the Elizabethan period. Old Fort MacArthur Days at San Pedro Other Performances The Gentlemen Adventurers have also performed at various other events as well ranging from corporate events, special reenactment events, living history school presentations, weddings and themed parties.
