Portrayed by Charles Hanlan

Young Master James Hawkins

James was the youngest son of Admiral Sir William Hawkins by his 2nd wife Marie, making him the half brother of Grace and William.  He never knew his father, as he was born five months after the Admiral's death.  Not much is known about his short life, as he died at the age of 13.  He was buried at St Andrews, Plymouth.

Theatrics

James has joined his sister for Progress as a means of separating him from his father's wrath following an unfortunate accident dockside involving a rock and resulting in the collapse of a galleon frame under construction.
